What to Expect

In each of the THREE 2-hour classes of our Shed Your Skin Spring series, we will engage in ninety minutes of a mixed-level warming Vinyasa flow inspired by an embodiment practice of multicultural mythology, and thirty minutes of guided mindfulness meditation. The asana sequences are designed to support opening and receiving space in specific regions of body as aligned energetic spaces that mimic the themes of our chosen myths. Our intention is for attendees to receive the experience  both physically in the alignment-based asanas, but also spiritually in the ancient tradition of connection with myth and story. We are working with what is already there in your body, mind, and spiritual presence---come as you are. 
Storytelling, hands-on adjustments, essential oils, and alignment and breath-based cueing are all tools that are employed in this opening work.  In each of these classes, Laura or Kelly will be a DEDICATED ADJUSTER! You can count on receiving focused attention to deepen and enhance your practice.  Check out to learn more about Laura and her other offerings. 
All levels of yogis are welcome, but you must be 14 years or older to practice in this series. 
What to bring?
Please bring a a water bottle, an open mind, a yoga mat, a sense of humor, a blanket, and a journal to each class. 
How to sign up for this offering?
We encourage reservations so that we can properly prepare for your experience.  Reserved price is $20 per class or $60 for the entire series. In your PayPal notes, please indicate which specific date you are reserving, or note "Full Series" 
If you are not making a reservation and are planning to drop in at the door per class, please consider the following:
arrive no later than 15 minutes before class, and cash only. Drop in price is $25 per class.
